Gallup posted a new analysis from its Wells Fargo Small Business Survey this week, on 4/6/09. The survey reports that one in three small-business owners suggest the poor economy has made it tough for them to make their companies more "green."
The poll indicates that only 37% of those companies surveyed are taking steps to show their customers that they are environmentally friendly. However, despite this perception about half responded that they are doing as much as possible to help the environment.
The poll says that most small-business owners don't expect much help from the U.S. Government. In light of its results, the poll then suggests that the Government may have a chance to boost the nations economy and improve the environment at the same time -- by helping America's small businesses become more "green."
