See what Houston universities spend on athletics

The University of Houston and Rice University spend far less on athletic department expenditures than many other Division 1 colleges.

The Memphis Business Journal, an affiliated publication, gathered athletic department spending data for all Division 1 colleges from the U.S. Department of Education’s Equality in Athletics statistics. The data showed that many other colleges spend double the amount of UH and Rice’s athletic department expenses. Click here to see the full report.
